Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Sr Instrumentation and Controls Engineer to design and optimize control systems for state-of-the-art facilities across the United States. You will develop P&IDs, size valves, and specify instrumentation while ensuring compliance with codes and industry standards.

You’ll lead project teams and collaborate with architects and engineers to deliver robust solutions. The role emphasizes collaboration, mentorship, and a strong focus on mission-critical infrastructure and data

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or other related engineering or technical field.
• At least 6 Years of experience working with Instrumentation and Control.
• Demonstrated experience in mission critical control systems, including Building Management Systems (BMS), SCADA systems, and Distributed Control Systems (DCS).

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize control systems for multiple processes.
• Develop P&IDs, size valves, specify instrumentation, and document design information.
• Lead on-site support during startup and coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams.
