Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Sr Instrumentation and Controls Engineer to design and optimize control systems for facilities across the United States, including mission-critical data center projects. You will develop P&IDs, size valves, specify instrumentation, and document design information while ensuring codes and standards compliance.

You’ll lead multi-disciplinary teams, mentor junior professionals, coordinate startup activities on-site, and contribute to a culture of collaboration and innovation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field required.
• Minimum 6 years of instrumentation and control experience.
• Experience with Building Management Systems (BMS), SCADA, and Distributed Control Systems (DCS).

Responsibilities

• Develop P&IDs, size valves, specify instrumentation and document design information.
• Ensure compliance with building codes and industry standards.
• Lead multi-disciplinary teams and mentor junior professionals; coordinate startup activities on-site.
