Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Senior Instrumentation and Controls Engineer to lead design and optimization of control systems for critical facilities across the United States. You will develop P&IDs, size valves, specify instrumentation, and model design information while ensuring compliance with codes and industry standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or related engineering or technical field.
• At least 6 years of experience working with Instrumentation and Control.
• Demonstrated experience with mission critical control systems, including BMS, SCADA, and DCS.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize control systems for processes and facilities.
• Develop P&IDs, size valves, specify instrumentation, and document design information.
• Provide on-site startup support and coordinate activities with staff and discipline leads.
• Lead project teams and mentor junior professionals.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver world-class solutions.
