Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Sr Instrumentation and Controls Engineer in the United States. You will design and optimize control systems for state‑of‑the‑art facilities, develop P&IDs and instrument specifications, and lead coordination with architects, engineers, and designers to deliver complete, world‑class solutions.

You will gain mentorship from a collaborative team while managing scope, schedule, and budget across multiple projects, including startup support and on‑site guidance at client sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or related engineering field.
• At least 6 years of experience working with Instrumentation and Control.
• Experience with mission critical control systems (BMS, SCADA, DCS).

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize control systems for processes and facilities.
• Develop P&IDs, size valves, specify instrumentation and document design information.
• Coordinate startup activities and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
