Job summary

Quanta Power Solutions is seeking a highly experienced Instrumentation Engineer IV to lead the design, development, and implementation of instrumentation, controls, and automation systems across power generation, renewables, BESS, data centers, and infrastructure projects.

The role requires independent execution of complex assignments, technical leadership, and mentoring of junior engineers from conceptual design through commissioning and startup.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or related discipline.
• Minimum 8–12 years of instrumentation and controls engineering experience.
• Experience supporting EPC projects in power generation, industrial, utility, renewable energy, or infrastructure sectors.

Responsibilities

• Lead instrumentation engineering activities through conceptual design to startup and commissioning.
• Develop and review instrument indexes, I/O lists, and control narratives.
• Lead FAT/SAT and system validation efforts.
• Coordinate with electrical, process, and mechanical teams.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to engineering standards.
