Job summary
Enel North America is seeking an Instrument and Controls Specialist to support configuration and maintenance of process control systems across solar assets. The role focuses on safety, reliability and efficiency, with hands-on maintenance, calibration and troubleshooting of PLC/SCADA networks and associated equipment.
You will monitor performance, perform preventive maintenance, assist with training, and ensure documentation and compliance across control networks.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of industrial automation experience in the Energy Sector or similar business.
- Experience with SCADA and PLCs (ladder logic).
- Networking, Windows, Linux, DOS, and C++ familiarity.
- Knowledge of ESD systems, UPS, and instrumentation.
- Ability to read P&ID and MF drawings.
Responsibilities
- Monitor site performance via SCADA, Remote Desktop and SAP.
- Perform preventive maintenance on control systems and plant equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair plant mechanical, instrumentation, and electrical systems.
- Maintain 24x7 uptime of control systems and communications.
- Provide desktop support for plant process control systems and users.
