Job summary
Enel North America is seeking a Lead Solar Technician to join the Operations & Maintenance team at multiple solar PV plants in the United States. You will lead a team of up to 10 technicians, coordinate daily schedules, and supervise maintenance, testing, and troubleshooting of AC/DC circuits and solar components.
Emphasis on safety, documentation, and process improvement will be core to the role. The ideal candidate has strong electrical knowledge, hands-on experience with solar equipment, and
Qualifications
- 5+ years of relevant experience in renewable energy.
- 3+ years related experience with Associate Degree/Tech School Certification.
- B.S. Degree in electrical or technical field plus ≥6 months of applicable experience.
- Supervisory experience as a lead or foreman.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Proficient knowledge of electrical theory and testing equipment.
Responsibilities
- Lead up to 10 Field Service Technicians; schedule daily activities.
- Review diagrams to determine tasks, tools, and parts needed.
- Perform current and voltage calculations as necessary.
- Complete maintenance reports and documentation.
- Ensure safety compliance and perform LOTO/JSAs and permits.
