Job summary

Enel North America is seeking an Instrument and Controls Specialist to support configuration and maintenance for Process Control Systems at our Solar assets. You will ensure 24x7 uptime and mentor junior staff, delivering safe, reliable automation within budget.

Responsibilities include monitoring SCADA, troubleshooting PLC/SCADA networks, maintaining instrumentation, wiring, and communications, and collaborating with IT and Logistics to optimize performance.

Qualifications

3+ years of industrial automation experience in the Energy Sector or similar business, utilizing complex Control Systems.
Experience with plant shutdown/turnaround activities.
Must possess strong PC skills and be proficient with MS Word, Excel, Visio, SAP, CMD, Linux, Windows.

Responsibilities

Monitor site performance via SCADA, Remote Desktop and SAP.
Provide preventative maintenance for weather stations, trackers, UPS, PC, Switch, Modem, PLC, HMI, AC systems onsite.
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair plant mechanical, instrumentation, and electrical systems.
Maintain 24x7 uptime of Control Systems including parts consumption and communications.
Provide desktop support and assist operations with control strategies.
