Job summary

Enel North America, Inc. is seeking a Lead Solar Technician to join the Operations & Maintenance team at multiple solar PV plants. You will supervise up to 10 technicians, schedule daily work, and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems with a focus on reliability and safety.

The role requires 5+ years in renewables (or 3+ years with technical degree, or a B.S. in electrical/related field) and strong electrical theory knowledge.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in renewable energy sector or related field.
• Supervisory experience leading field crews.
• B.S. degree electrical/technical or assoc degree with relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of up to 10 Field Service Technicians with scheduling and coaching.
• Perform routine maintenance, testing, and troubleshooting of electrical/mechanical systems.
• Review procedures, generate reports, and ensure safe operations (LOTO, JSA, PTW).
• Travel up to 25% and support QA/QC and regional maintenance activities.
• Provide technical guidance to resolve intermediate issues and mentor crew.
