Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Learning & Development professional to plan, implement, and evaluate education programs across the organization. You will apply instructional design and curriculum development to enhance team performance and align with system goals.

The role involves developing engaging e-learning content, enabling trainers, and ensuring accessibility and branding standards across digital courses.

Qualifications

• Typically requires 5 years of experience in adult education/instructional design that includes curriculum development, instructional design, training program presentation, web development and adult learning in a related business, technological or health care environment.
• If e-learning focused, requires demonstrated success (minimum 4 years) developing e-learning with asynchronous tools such as Articulate Storyline, Captivate, Camtasia, etc., along with experience in graphic design and layout.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with leaders, educators, and stakeholders to plan, implement and evaluate learning programs aligned to organizational goals.
• Conducts training needs analysis and applies instructional design and curriculum development to deliver learning programs.
• Supports e-learning development and technology-based learning processes; designs engaging instructional materials and train-the-trainer sessions.
• Maintains e-learning design standards, branding, accessibility, and up-to-date online learning catalog.
• Leads process-improvement projects to improve quality and performance while reducing waste and cost.
• Establishes cross-department collaboration to optimize education and development processes and share information.
