Job summary

The American Hospital Association (AHA) is seeking a Senior Instructional Designer for ASHE Learning & Development in Chicago. This hybrid role focuses on designing, developing, and delivering educational content for health care facilities, using eLearning, webinars, on-demand, and in-person formats.

You will work with SMEs and LMS systems to upload, manage content, generate reports, and support users, driving program impact and alignment with regulatory and operational needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Adult Education, eLearning Design or related field is required.
• 5+ years of instructional design experience for adult education programs.
• Advanced experience with learning technology, media design, authoring software and gamification.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop content for educational programs across formats (webinars, on-demand, in-person, distance learning).
• Maintain and update existing programs with new modalities (adaptive learning, distance learning, gamification).
• Collaborate with SMEs to ensure accuracy and relevance of content.
• Evaluate programs using data analytics and adjust to meet learning goals.
• Oversee curriculum management, LMS user support, and reporting.
