Job summary

University Health's Center for Learning Excellence seeks a Senior Manager of Instructional Design to lead learning strategy, design, development, and e-learning initiatives. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in instructional design, curriculum and instruction, adult education, healthcare, instructional technology, or a related field required; master's degree preferred.
• Five or more years of experience applying adult learning principles in a corporate training or professional services environment, with emphasis on eLearning and ILT and a leadership track.
• Proven experience leading complex instructional design projects from concept through implementation.
• Demonstrated team leadership experience, including coaching, mentoring, inspiring, and motivating others.
• Proficiency in Articulate Storyline, Articulate Rise, Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, and PeopleSoft; multimedia tools like Adobe Creative Suite and Camtasia are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Set the vision for instructional design and lead strategy, design, development, and implementation of learning solutions.
• Lead and develop a high-performing instructional design team.
• Partner with healthcare professionals and organizational leaders to deliver measurable learning outcomes.
• Oversee project planning, resource allocation, timelines, and status reporting.
• Establish design standards and explore new approaches and technologies to ensure engaging, accessible learning experiences.
