Job summary

The American Hospital Association is seeking an experienced instructional designer to design, develop, and manage eLearning programs for a national audience. The role emphasizes using diverse modalities—webinars, on-demand, in-person and distance learning—to build knowledge in health care facility operations, regulatory compliance and certifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Adult Education, eLearning Design or related field required.
• 5+ years of instructional design and development of adult education programs (virtual, in-person, online, on-demand).
• Advanced experience with learning technology, media design, authoring software and gamification.
• Experience with Learning Management Systems, user support and program management.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop content for educational programs across webinars, on-demand, in-person and distance learning.
• Maintain and update programs using adaptive learning, distance learning and gamification.
• Utilize formats including print, audio, visual and multimedia for target audiences.
• Collaborate with SMEs to ensure content accuracy and thoroughness.
• Evaluate programs and measure learner engagement using data analytics.
• Oversee curriculum management and LMS user-support.
• Prepare reports on educational portfolio, budget, expenses and revenue.
