Job summary

Verizon is seeking a Senior Account Manager for Inside Sales to grow and manage key government accounts across multiple states. The role emphasizes phone and virtual engagement, deep product knowledge across wireless, mobility, cloud, and security solutions, and closing deals to hit targets.

The successful candidate will build C-suite relationships, negotiate contracts, and leverage CRM tools for pipeline reporting. Field mobility is expected with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or four+ years of relevant work experience.
• Three or more years of relevant experience are required.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow existing government accounts within designated territory primarily via phone and virtual interactions.
• Proactively present Verizon's wireless, mobility, cloud, and security solutions to meet client needs.
• Close deals to achieve sales targets while maintaining strong customer loyalty and satisfaction.
• Track and report sales activity, pipeline progress, and KPIs using CRM tools.
