Job summary

Lumen is seeking an experienced sales professional to drive new logo acquisition and grow brand awareness within a defined territory. This desk-based role focuses on selling Lumen’s products, services, and solutions with limited field engagement.

The role targets new logos, helps develop peers, and requires strong consultative and transactional selling, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences and results.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of sales experience.
• Experience selling telecom/telecom solutions.
• Advanced desk-based or inside/outside sales experience.
• History of developing new accounts and opening new territories is a plus.
• Ability to conduct efficient sales calls or web conferences.
• Prepared, organized and planned approach to daily business.
• Persuasive selling and prospecting skills (cold calls, email, social media).
• Strong relationship-building, communication, team player and coachable.
• Proficiency in Salesforce/CRM.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and qualify through calls, emails, social media, campaigns and follow-ups.
• Deliver strong value propositions to maximize revenue.
• Manage accounts and achieve monthly sales quotas.
• Create and maintain account plans and timely quotes.
