Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Health Information Management or related field.
• Certification by AAPC or AHIMA.
• 7+ years' inpatient acute care coding experience with revenue cycle exposure.

Responsibilities

• Review complex inpatient documentation and assign ICD-10-CM/PCS, CPT, and HCPCS codes.
• Adhere to coding guidelines and regulatory requirements; maintain CDI collaboration.
• Code high-dollar, long-stay cases and support DNFB reduction while meeting quality targets.
