Advocate Health is seeking an experienced inpatient coder to join the 10407 Enterprise Revenue Cycle team. The role covers inpatient coding operations across multiple service lines, including complex cases, with coding from ICD-10-CM/PCS, CPT, and HCPCS.

Ideal candidates hold AHIMA or AAPC credentials and an associate degree in HIM, with 7 years of acute care experience. The position is full-time with a 40-hour workweek and possible remote options in designated states.

Qualificações

• Associate's degree in Health Information Management or related field.
• 7 years' inpatient coding experience in an acute care setting including revenue cycle processes.
• Coding certification from AAPC or AHIMA (required).

Responsabilidades

• Review complex inpatient documentation to assign diagnosis and procedure codes (ICD-10-CM/PCS, CPT, HCPCS).
• Ensure code selection follows Official Coding Guidelines and regulations.
• Code high-dollar, long-stay cases and meet quality/productivity standards.
