Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Reviews complex inpatient documentation to assign codes using ICD-10 CM/PCS, CPT, and HCPCS.
• Ensure correct code selection following Official Coding Guidelines and regulations.
• Maintain departmental policies and meet productivity and quality standards.
• Collaborate with CDI and Quality teams to align DRGs and Medicare cases.
• Participate in payer audits and coding-related meetings.
