Valleywise Health is seeking an Inpatient Coder III to determine accurate ICD-10 diagnoses and procedure codes for facility inpatient records. The role involves maternity, newborns, pediatrics, behavioral health, ICU, medical, burn/trauma, and surgical cases, with productivity and quality benchmarks to meet.

The position offers potential remote work for eligible states and an hourly pay rate of 40.90 USD, reflecting specialized inpatient coding expertise and experience in hospital coding

Formación

• Associate degree in health information technology or equivalent experience.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• CPC, COC, CIC, CCS, or CCS-P certification required.

Responsabilidades

• Code inpatient hospital/facility records using ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS.
• Assign DRGs and clinical codes for Severity of Illness and Mortality.
• Maintain coding productivity and quality per department policies.
