Qualifications

• Must possess a valid CCS credential (AHIMA).
• 3+ years of Inpatient coding in large Academic/Trauma 1 setting required.
• Must be proficient in ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS coding.

Responsibilities

• Assign appropriate ICD-10-CM/PCS codes to inpatient accounts.
• Abstract and enter coded data for hospital reporting.
• Query physicians to clarify clinical information.
