Job summary

Amcor seeks a Process Engineer to oversee injection stretch blow mold sampling, qualification, and validation for new and rebuilt molds, working with plant technicians and quality engineers to improve processes and tooling.

You will optimize molding processes, develop standardized process sheets, and support design reviews. The role requires strong communication, problem-solving, and the ability to train staff across manufacturing sites.

Qualifications

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to influence and negotiate with customers and teams.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and technical acumen in plastics processing.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for mold sampling and qualification on new, replacement or rebuilt tooling.
• Optimize molding process to meet dimensional limits within cycle times.
• Create and maintain Master Process Sheets for injection or blow molding.
• Attend project meetings and tool specification reviews.
• Train plant personnel in technical areas including machine processing and tool design changes.
