Job summary

Commure is hiring a Senior Software Engineer on the Infrastructure team to own the foundational infrastructure and internal developer platform across the engineering org. You will shape multi‑product infrastructure end‑to‑end, including cloud foundations, Kubernetes fleet, release pipelines, and service mesh.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in infrastructure, platform, or SRE roles.
• Experience building internal developer platforms.
• Cloud experience (GCP, AWS, Azure) and on‑prem/hybrid.
• IaC with Terraform or Pulumi; Crossplane/Kubernetes operators.
• GitOps workflows with Argo CD or Flux.
• Observability stack with Prometheus/Grafana/OpenTelemetry.
• HIPAA/SOC 2 exposure in regulated industries.

Responsibilities

• Build out the internal developer platform and self‑serve tooling.
• Own the cloud foundation through IaC and Kubernetes operators.
• Run the Kubernetes fleet with lifecycle management and upgrades.
• Design the traffic and networking layer including service mesh and mTLS.
• Own release and deployment with GitOps, canary and blue‑green strategies.
• Maintain observability with metrics, logs, and tracing.
