Job summary

Associated Bank is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to design, automate, and support critical private cloud infrastructure in Minnesota. You will partner with application and technology teams to improve deployment, performance, availability, and resilience while mentoring other engineers.

The role emphasizes automation, testing, and DevOps practices to ensure secure, reliable operations across Windows and Linux environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technical field.
• 8+ years with VMware portfolio (VCF, SRM, vSAN, NSX, HCX).
• 5+ years with Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, Ansible, GitHub Actions, container tech.

Responsibilities

• Automate testing, configuration, release, and deployment using infrastructure-as-code and DevOps practices.
• Monitor capacity, availability, and performance to identify issues and improvements.
• Maintain inventories, diagrams, and documentation for operations continuity.
• Support disaster recovery planning and business resumption testing.
• Coach and mentor engineers to share knowledge and shape technology direction.
