Associated Bank is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer in Omaha, NE to design, automate, and support critical infra. You will partner with application teams to improve deployment, performance, availability, and resilience, while mentoring other engineers.

The role requires 8+ years with VMware, 5+ years with Terraform IaC, CI/CD, Ansible, and PowerShell. Strong collaboration across technology groups is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Mathematics, Computer Science, MIS, or Computer Engineering.
• 8+ years of experience with the VMware portfolio (VCF, SRM, vSAN, NSX, HCX).
• 5+ years with Terraform IaC, CI/CD pipelines, configuration management such as Ansible, GitHub Actions, and container solutions.
• 5+ years of experience with PowerShell, HashiCorp HCL, RESTful APIs, YAML/JSON, and PowerCLI.

Responsibilities

• Design and automate private cloud infrastructure and technology solutions to support reliable apps.
• Manage incident and problem resolution by troubleshooting connectivity, infrastructure, and communication issues.
• Automate testing, configuration, release, and deployment using IaC and DevOps practices.
• Monitor capacity, availability, and performance; identify issues and recommend improvements.
• Maintain inventories, network diagrams, and system documentation to support operations.
• Coach and mentor engineers, sharing knowledge and shaping tech direction.
