Associated Bank is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to design, automate, and support critical infrastructure, ensuring secure, reliable, and efficient operations across applications and data. You will mentor engineers, partner with application and technology teams to improve deployment, performance, and resilience, and drive adoption of modern DevOps practices.

This role requires deep VMware expertise, IaC with Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, and strong scripting with PowerShell, enabling

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 8+ years VMware portfolio experience (VCF/SRM/vSAN/NSX/HCX).
• 5+ years Terraform IaC, CI/CD pipelines, Ansible, GitHub Actions.
• 5+ years PowerShell, HCL, RESTful APIs, YAML/JSON, PowerCLI.

Responsibilities

• Design and automate private cloud infrastructure and tech solutions.
• Manage incident and problem resolution; troubleshoot connectivity and infra issues.
• Automate testing, configuration, release, and deployment with IaC and DevOps practices.
• Monitor capacity, availability, and performance; propose improvements.
• Maintain inventories, diagrams, docs, and system records.
• Collaborate with providers, tech teams, and leadership to strengthen infra.
• Support disaster recovery documentation and Business Resumption testing.
• Coach and mentor engineers with knowledge sharing and guidance.
