Job summary

Associated Bank is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to design, automate, and support private cloud infrastructure that keeps applications and data secure, reliable, and efficient. You will partner with application and technology teams to improve deployment, performance, availability, and resilience.

You will mentor engineers, share knowledge, and help shape technology direction while using VMware, Terraform, Ansible, and CI/CD to implement scalable solutions across Windows and Red Hat

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• ~8+ years VMware portfolio experience including VCF, SRM, vSAN, NSX, HCX.
• ~5+ years Terraform IaC, CI/CD pipelines, Ansible, GitHub Actions, container solutions.
• ~2+ years Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, PKI, and Group Policy.
• ~2+ years Windows Server and Red Hat experience.
• ~ VMware VCF, Microsoft, HashiCorp, Ansible certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Automate testing, configuration, release, and deployment with IaC and DevOps practices.
• Monitor capacity, availability, and performance; propose improvements.
• Maintain inventories, diagrams, documentation, and records for operations.
• Support resilience via DR documentation and Business Resumption Readiness testing.
• Coach engineers; mentor and shape technology direction.
