Lumicera Health Services seeks a Sr. Manager, Industry Relations to lead the Trade Relations team and shape manufacturer engagement strategies in the United States.

This role directs negotiation of distribution and procurement contracts to secure access to specialty medications and favorable pricing for payers and patients. You will oversee clinical drug pipelines, manage limited distribution agreements, and collaborate with legal, compliance, and external vendors to advance Lumicera’s strategic

Competenze

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or PharmD required; MBA or other graduate degree preferred.
• Current, unrestricted licensure as a Registered Pharmacist in the state of residence, or ability to gain reciprocity within 4 months.
• 7+ years of specialty pharmacy or pharmaceutical industry experience.
• 5+ years of contract negotiation experience, with strong preference for specialty pharmacy or industry-relations contracting experience.
• 3+ years of people-leadership or team-management experience.
• Strong knowledge of specialty pharmacy medications, including REMS requirements and Limited Distribution Drug (LDD) best practices.
• Participate in, adhere to, and support compliance program objectives.
• The ability to consistently interact cooperatively and respectfully with other employees.

Mansioni

• Lead, develop, and coach the trade relations team, setting priorities and ensuring consistent execution of manufacturer and trade engagement strategy.
• Direct the negotiation of distribution and procurement agreements with specialty pharmaceutical manufacturers and ensure successful implementation to achieve compliance and realization of fees.
• Develop manufacturer strategies related to clinical disease states, competing medications, and PBM formulary alignment.
• Oversee the clinical drug pipeline and identify opportunities for RFPs and RFIs for manufacturer programs.
• Secure access to limited distribution medications and oversee negotiation, implementation, and ongoing management of associated agreements, fees, and discounts.
• Establish, monitor, and negotiate pricing and service agreements with manufacturers, including legal and compliance review.
• Maintain relationships with pharmaceutical manufacturers and identify program opportunities supporting strategic objectives.
• Expand and negotiate manufacturer programs including data and enhanced services programs.
• Negotiate purchase discounts (prompt pay, volume, direct purchase) to maximize cost savings.
• Manage enhanced services and data programs with manufacturers and report on performance.
• Develop and implement strategies for a competitive pharma contract structure meeting needs of Lumicera, PBM, payers, and patients.
• Oversee relations with data aggregators and manufacturer hub services; coordinate activities.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasts for procurement of specialty products.
• Represent the specialty pharmacy at leadership, industry, and trade groups.
• Ensure reporting capabilities meet internal and external requirements.
• Provide periodic leadership updates on activities, opportunities, performance, and trends.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Other duties as assigned.
