Job summary

Black & Veatch is seeking a Senior Process Engineer to lead design of water and wastewater systems for diverse industrial clients. You will develop detailed process designs, deliver key deliverables, mentor junior engineers, and manage project budgets and schedules.

You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to solve complex engineering challenges, apply advanced techniques, and support business development through technical proposals. Hybrid work options are available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering is required.
• 11+ years of related work experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) registration preferred or required in some jurisdictions.

Responsibilities

• Lead process engineering design of water and wastewater systems.
• Prepare PFDs, Water Balances, MSDs, P&IDs, equipment datasheets and specs.
• Perform complex research and select equipment/materials for water treatment.
• Manage budgets, schedules, and quality for projects.
• Mentor junior engineers and oversee project teams.
