Job summary

Black & Veatch Corporation seeks a Senior Process Engineer to lead design of water and wastewater systems for industrial clients worldwide. You’ll develop PFDs, water balances, MSDs, P&IDs, and equipment datasheets while managing budgets and schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited program.
• Minimum of 11 years of related work experience.
• Professional Engineer registration or ability to pursue such registration.

Responsibilities

• Lead process engineering design of water and wastewater systems.
• Prepare PFDs, Water Balances, MSDs, P&IDs, and equipment datasheets.
• Perform complex research and develop recommendations for equipment and/or materials selection; responsible for detailed design and procurement of water treatment systems, including construction and commissioning support.
• Manage assigned budget, schedule, and quality requirements.
• Plans and conducts independent evaluation, selection and adaptation of engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria.
• Reviews lower level engineering work or assignments.
• Oversee collection, assimilation, and management of data for engineering work; lead smaller production teams; be responsible for a project.
