Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Principal Industrial Water Wastewater Consultant to join our IWTO team as a seller/doer in the US mining sector. This role blends client development with hands-on design of water and wastewater systems, with 40–50% focus on selling and 50–60% on technical execution.

The position is hybrid, with projects across the US and some international work. Strong SME credentials in industrial wastewater and mining operations are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field preferred.
• 20+ years of industrial water/wastewater treatment experience.
• Experience across engineering, project management, sustainability, sales, marketing, and mining.
• Knowledge of North American mining clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead business development activities to increase project wins and client relationships.
• Prepare and lead proposals, and conduct client interviews.
• Undertake conceptual and detailed process design for industrial water and wastewater projects in mining.
• Serve as SME for mining sector wastewater treatment and mentor staff.
