Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Principal Industrial Water Wastewater Consultant to join the IWTO team in the US. This seller/doer role combines client development with hands-on process design for mining-related water and wastewater projects.

You will lead multi-disciplinary teams, mentor staff, and collaborate across Arcadis locations to win work and deliver large, complex projects while advancing sustainable solutions.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Environmental/Civil/Chemical/Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 20+ years of industrial water/wastewater treatment experience.
• Experience across engineering, project management, sustainability, sales, marketing, and mining.
• Knowledge of industrial clients in North America, especially Mining sector.
• Strong experience in large industrial wastewater capital projects.
• Strong network within Mining sector.

Responsibilities

• Lead business development to increase project wins and client relationships.
• Lead pursuits, proposals, and client meetings for opportunities.
• Provide conceptual and detailed process design for IW/WW treatment in mining.
• Serve as SME for mining wastewater and mentor staff.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams on projects.
• Lead design basis, mass/energy balances, P&IDs, equipment specs, and reports.
