Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Principal Industrial Water Wastewater Consultant to lead client-facing work and deliver complex water treatment projects in the Mining sector across the US. The role blends sales focus (40-50%) with hands-on process design for industrial water and wastewater treatment.

The candidate will act as SME in mining wastewater, mentor the Industrial Water team, and manage large, high-risk projects with global collaboration. Hybrid work, US locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental/Civil/Chemical/Mechanical engineering or related field is preferred.
• 20+ years of industrial water/wastewater treatment experience.
• Experience across engineering, project management, sustainability, sales, marketing, and mining.
• Knowledge of North American industrial clients, especially mining.
• Strong experience leading large industrial wastewater capital projects.
• Strong network within the mining sector.

Responsibilities

• Lead business development to increase project wins and client relationships.
• Lead projects from planning through construction of industrial water/wastewater plants.
• Coordinate multi-disciplinary engineering teams.
• Serve as SME for mining sector wastewater treatment and related issues.
• Collaborate with regional, national, and global account teams; develop abstracts and technical papers.
