Job summary

Arcadis seeks a Principal Industrial Water Wastewater Consultant to join its Industrial Water Treatment and Optimization (IWTO) team in the US. This seller/doer role focuses on mining sector growth, client engagement, and proposal development, with a strong technical leadership in wastewater treatment.

The position balances 40-50% client-facing selling activities with 50-60% hands-on conceptual and detailed process design for industrial water and wastewater projects, leveraging Arcadis’ global

Qualifications

• BS in Environmental/Civil/Chemical/Mechanical Eng or related field preferred.
• 20+ years in industrial water/wastewater treatment.
• Experience across engineering, PM, sustainability, sales/marketing, and mining.
• Knowledge of North American industrial clients, especially mining.
• Strong experience leading large wastewater capital projects.
• Strong network within the mining sector.

Responsibilities

• Support growth in mining sector; lead business development and client relationships.
• Lead pursuits, develop proposals, and conduct client meetings.
• Serve as SME for mining sector wastewater treatment; coordinate multi-disciplinary teams.
• Design and supervise industrial water/wastewater treatment projects and wastewater recycling plants.
