Job summary

Arcadis seeks a Principal Industrial Water Wastewater Consultant to join our IWTO team as a seller/doer, driving growth in mining across the US with a hybrid client-facing role blending business development and hands-on design for water and wastewater projects.

You will engage clients, lead proposals, mentor staff, and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams across Arcadis locations, with preferred Southwest/West US location and occasional international assignments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field preferred.
• 20+ years of industrial water/wastewater treatment experience.
• Experience with industrial clients in North America, particularly Mining sector.
• Strong experience in leading large industrial wastewater capital projects and mining sector network.

Responsibilities

• Lead business development activities to increase project wins and develop long-lasting client relationships.
• Lead pursuits and development of proposals; client meetings for business development.
• Serve as Mining Sector wastewater treatment SME and support Industrial Water process team development.
• Lead projects and clients in planning, design, and construction of industrial water/wastewater facilities; coordinate multi-disciplinary teams.
• Provide direction on design basis documents, mass/energy balances, P&ID/Layouts, and equipment specifications.
