Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Principal Industrial Water Wastewater Consultant to join the IWTO team as a seller/doer, concentrating on mining in the US. You will lead business development, client engagement, and technical design for industrial water and wastewater projects.

This senior role balances client development (40–50%) with hands-on engineering (50–60%), and requires extensive mining wastewater expertise, regional and global collaboration, and leadership across large, complex projects.

Qualifications

• Deep experience in industrial water/wastewater treatment.
• Strong mining operations knowledge and water interactions.
• Proven ability to develop and lead large capital projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage business development efforts to grow mining sector projects.
• Prepare proposals and lead client meetings to identify needs and opportunities.
• Undertake conceptual and detailed process design for industrial water/wastewater projects.
• Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams and serve as SME for mining wastewater.
• Lead projects through planning, design, and construction phases.
