Job summary

Jacobs in the Advanced Manufacturing Group seeks an experienced HVAC Designer to join our Building Mechanical team and deliver HVAC design solutions for heavy industrial clients. You will perform field investigations, size equipment, and prepare construction design packages while interfacing with clients and vendors.

You will be accountable for schedule and technical quality of complex tasks, collaborating with a multi-discipline team to meet client expectations, scope, budget and schedule while

Qualifications

• At least ten (10) years’ experience in the design of HVAC systems for industrial facilities.
• Proficiency in Revit.
• Thorough knowledge of codes and standards related to the design of HVAC systems.
• Adaptability to work within a fast-paced team environment with multiple deadlines.
• Ability to collaborate with the project team remotely.

Responsibilities

• Layout and design of HVAC systems.
• Develop conceptual and preliminary designs, including sizing calculations and AFDs.
• Create final construction documents for HVAC systems such as chilled and cooling water.
• Coordinate with other disciplines.
