Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Senior Mechanical HVAC Designer to deliver innovative HVAC design solutions for heavy industrial clients. You will design HVAC systems, develop conceptual and final construction documents, and coordinate with multiple disciplines while working with a high-energy team.

The role emphasizes field investigations, client/vendor interfacing, equipment sizing, and ensuring schedule and technical quality. Hybrid work policy and strong growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• At least ten (10) years’ experience in the design of HVAC systems for industrial facilities.
• Proficiency in Revit.
• Thorough knowledge of codes and standards related to the design of HVAC systems.
• Adaptability to work within a fast-paced team environment with multiple deadlines.
• Ability to collaborate with the project team remotely.

Responsibilities

• Layout and design of HVAC systems for industrial facilities.
• Development of conceptual and preliminary design documents, including sizing calculations, Air Flow Diagrams (AFDs), P&IDs, and general arrangements.
• Development of final construction documents for HVAC systems (e.g., chilled water, cooling water).
• Coordination with other disciplines.
