Job summary

The Weitz Company is seeking an experienced Sr. Business Development Manager to fuel growth in the Industrial Business Unit. Advanced Manufacturing experience is required, with emphasis on building relationships, pursuing opportunities, and delivering compelling proposals and presentations.

You will analyze market trends, assist in strategic planning, and may supervise marketing staff. A Bachelor’s degree in marketing, construction engineering, or business is required, with 10+ years in business

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in marketing, construction engineering, or business
MBA helpful but not required
5+ years in construction industry is required
10+ years in business development with management experience
Experience in strategic direction and budgeting is helpful
Industrial and commercial construction industry experience preferred

Responsibilities

Pursue sales opportunities to win projects and grow the division.
Track progress against sales calls and goals.
Develop and maintain networks with clients, designers, and real estate groups to generate leads.
Prepare RFQs/RFPs and ensure high-quality presentation materials.
Supervise and coach marketing support personnel as needed.
Contribute to strategic planning and market research efforts.
