The Weitz Company is seeking a Sr. Business Development Manager to grow our Industrial Business Unit. Advanced Manufacturing experience is required as you pursue and develop relationships with current and prospective clients.

You will research market trends, assist in acquiring new business, and develop proposals and presentations. The role may involve strategic planning, advertising, and public relations, with potential supervisory responsibilities over marketing support staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in marketing, construction engineering, or business; MBA helpful but not required.
• Five years of construction industry experience required; 10+ years in business development preferred.
• Industrial and commercial construction experience; strong client relationships in manufacturing sectors.

Responsibilities

• Pursue sales opportunities leading to successful projects and build base of business.
• Maintain networks with clients, designers, CRE groups to generate new leads.
• Prepare high-quality RFQ/RFP responses and compelling presentations.
