Qualifications

• 15+ years in business development, sales engineering, or sales management.
• Proven success in industrial sectors and with industrial parts, components, and assemblies.
• Strong procurement and engineering collaboration experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute short- and long-term business development strategies.
• Identify new markets, target accounts, and strategic growth opportunities.
• Develop strategies to penetrate new accounts and expand existing relationships.
• Build and maintain relationships with customer procurement, engineering, and technical teams.
• Develop product roadmaps that support sustained profitable growth.
• Conduct market research and analyze industry trends and opportunities.
• Develop marketing plans, business plans, sales strategies, and action plans for targeted opportunities.
• Identify and secure new business programs.
• Provide direction and leadership in implementing sales strategies.
• Prepare and maintain forecasts of new business sales, bookings, proposals, and programs.
• Monitor booking rates, delivery performance, quotation activity, order backlog, and forecast changes.
• Present key business-development metrics to senior management.
• Maintain accurate status of major opportunities and next steps.
• Travel as needed to support customers, projects, and business-development activities.
