Job summary

Box is seeking a Senior Incident Commander to lead live-site incidents, drive rapid mitigation, and improve tooling for observability and resiliency. You will own incident bridges, coordinate cross-functional teams, and shape change reviews while mentoring the team across 24x7 environments.

You will partner with SRE and engineering to reduce incident impact, build automation, and develop runbooks, dashboards, and SLOs to improve overall reliability.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in SRE, production operations, reliability engineering, or equivalent high-scale internet/SaaS operations with leadership in major incidents.

Responsibilities

• Own and direct live-site incidents from identification to mitigation and recovery.
• Organize incident bridges, coordinate resources, and lead cross-functional teams.
