Intuit seeks an experienced leader to direct the most critical incidents, oversee recovery decisions, and assess customer impact. You will coordinate with business and operations leaders to ensure effective communications and swift actions.

The role focuses on elevating operational readiness through observability, runbooks, incident learning, and automation, including AI-agent tooling, while coaching incident leaders across teams.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and 12+ years of engineering experience in large-scale production systems.
• Candidates must have principal-level SRE and distributed‑systems expertise, strong software and automation skills, and AI‑agent development experience.
• Strong executive communication and cross‑organizational leadership abilities are required.
• Willingness to join a 24x7 follow‑the‑sun rotation.

Responsibilities

• Lead Intuit’s most critical incidents, directing recovery decisions, and customer-impact assessment.
• Coordinate escalation and communications with business and incident operations leaders.
• Improve company-wide operational readiness through observability, runbooks, incident learning, and tooling.
• Coach incident leaders and drive automation and AI‑agent tooling initiatives.
