Job summary

Salesforce seeks a Site Reliability Operations Engineer to join the internal DET Site Reliability Operations team supporting employees globally. You will respond to major incidents as Incident Commander, coordinate technical teams, and drive rapid service restoration.

You'll monitor enterprise systems across Windows, Linux, networks, and cloud platforms, develop runbooks, automation, and participate in on-call rotation to ensure business continuity in a 24x7 environment.

Qualifications

5–8 years in IT operations, incident management, or site reliability.
Experience in a 24x7 high availability environment with enterprise systems preferred.
Strong verbal and written communication with both technical and executive audiences.

Responsibilities

Respond to and manage major incidents affecting internal business operations.
Serve as Incident Commander to coordinate technical teams, establish impact, and drive rapid service restoration.
Monitor and troubleshoot enterprise systems including Windows, Linux, networks, and cloud components.
Develop runbooks, SOPs, and driving automation to improve incident response.
Participate in on-call rotation and act as Duty Manager for high severity incidents when needed.
