Job summary

Podium is seeking a Senior SRE Manager to build and run reliable infrastructure that works around the clock. You will lead a team of engineers who care about preventing incidents and resolving them, and you will push for automation, observability, and AI-assisted incident workflows.

You will coach and grow engineers, own on-call and incident management, and partner with cross-functional teams to bake reliability into the SDLC while balancing speed and safety.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in SRE, DevOps, or Infrastructure Engineering.
• 2+ years leading or managing a team.
• Deep familiarity with distributed systems and cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure), plus Kubernetes/Docker.
• Experience with observability tooling (Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, Honeycomb, ClickHouse).
• Proficient with CI/CD and infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible, or similar).
• Track record owning incident management and postmortems.

Responsibilities

• Own availability and performance of production systems end-to-end.
• Set SLIs/SLOs/SLAs and manage error budgets.
• Run incident management: on-call, escalation, postmortems.
• Push automation to reduce toil and improve durability.
• Own capacity planning, scaling, and disaster recovery.
