Job summary

Seqera Labs is hiring a full-time in-house lawyer to own day-to-day contracting and build scalable systems. You will report to the fractional Head of Legal and grow with the team as the legal function expands.

You should be a hands-on lawyer with 3–6 years of post-qualification experience, able to draft and negotiate SaaS agreements without close supervision and eager to broaden into privacy, employment, IP, and corporate work.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of post-qualification experience (in-house tech/SaaS and/or private practice).
• Qualified to practise law in a relevant jurisdiction.
• Hands-on commercial contracting experience with SaaS, tech or high-growth environments.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate customer agreements, MSAs, DPAs, SaaS terms and NDAs.
• Run deals with Sales and Revenue from draft to signature; escalate hard points.
• Develop and maintain contract templates and playbooks to accelerate cycles.
• Provide pragmatic, business-oriented contract risk advice.
• Manage contract lifecycle and compliance programs; report on volumes and cycle times.
