Job summary

Salesloft, a US-based company, offers a fully remote Senior Commercial Counsel role within the Legal & Compliance team. You will lead a privacy program, review and negotiate complex SaaS and vendor contracts, and partner with the General Counsel to align policy with business goals.

You will collaborate across Deal Desk, Sales, Procurement, Product, and Finance to ensure compliant terms, manage quarter-end velocity, and handle related employment questions as needed.

Qualifications

• 5–7+ years of experience negotiating SaaS, software licensing, and commercial contracts.
• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active United States bar membership.
• Background in B2B SaaS or high-growth tech companies.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and drafting skills.
• Ability to manage multiple matters with strong business judgment.
• Experience with end-of-quarter deal velocity and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mature the company's privacy program, including policies and cross-functional education.
• Review, negotiate, and close a variety of complex commercial agreements (SaaS, NDAs, DPAs, MSAs, etc.).
• Identify contractual and privacy risks and propose practical solutions.
• Advise on AI, data privacy, SaaS licensing, and vendor contracts.
• Collaborate with Deal Desk, Sales, Procurement, Product, and Finance to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Support employment questions and legal operations as part of a small team.
