Job summary

BuildOne Partners is seeking a ProjectSight Implementation Consultant to guide contractors through full deployments, from discovery to go-live. This remote role collaborates with project teams to tailor workflows and ensure adoption of the platform.

You will lead implementations, provide training, assist data migrations, and support ongoing client success, with some travel for on-site engagements as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience implementing or working with construction project management software such as ProjectSight, Procore, CMiC, InEight, Viewpoint, Sage, or similar platforms.
• Strong understanding of construction workflows including submittals, RFIs, drawings, cost controls, document management, and field reporting.
• Experience with software implementation processes: discovery, configuration, testing, training, and go-live.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and client-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end ProjectSight implementations, from kickoff through go-live.
• Conduct requirements discovery, map customer processes, and design system workflows.
• Configure ProjectSight modules including RFIs/Submittals, Cost Management, Field Management, Drawings, and Specifications.
• Develop project plans and manage implementation timelines, deliverables, and expectations.
• Deliver administrator and end-user training in virtual and onsite settings.

Job Description

This is a remote position.

As a ProjectSight Implementation Consultant, you will guide contractors through the full deployment of Trimble ProjectSight, from initial discovery and configuration through training and go-live.

You will work closely with project management, operations, and field teams to understand their current processes, configure ProjectSight to support their needs, and help them successfully adopt the platform as part of their project controls environment.

What You’ll Do

• Lead end-to-end ProjectSight implementations, from kickoff through go-live.

• Configure ProjectSight modules, including RFIs/Submittals, Cost Management, Field Management, Drawings, and Specifications.
  
• Develop project plans and manage implementation timelines, deliverables, and customer expectations.
  
• Deliver administrator and end-user training in virtual and onsite settings.
  
• Support data migration, testing cycles, validation, and go-live readiness.
  
• Guide customers on ProjectSight functionality, workflows, and best practices for connected project delivery.
  
• Identify implementation risks, dependencies, and customer needs throughout the project lifecycle.
  
• Maintain clear communication and documentation throughout each implementation.
  
• Collaborate with internal teams to support customer adoption, long-term success, and account growth.
  

Work Environment & Additional Information

This position is based remotely within the United States. The role requires regular interaction with clients and internal teams through video conferencing, email, project management platforms, and onsite engagements as needed.

Travel may be required for customer implementations, training, meetings, or company events.

Requirements

What We’re Looking For

• Experience implementing or working extensively with construction project management software such as ProjectSight, Procore, CMiC, InEight, Viewpoint, Sage, or similar platforms.
  
• Strong understanding of construction workflows, including submittals, RFIs, drawings, cost controls, document management, and field reporting.
  
• Experience with software implementation processes, including discovery, configuration, testing, training, and go-live.
  
• Excellent communication, presentation, facilitation, and client-facing skills.
  
• Ability to understand customer processes and translate business requirements into practical system workflows.
  
• Ability to manage multiple implementation projects, priorities, and deadlines concurrently.
  
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  
• Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively with customers and internal teams.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Direct experience with Trimble ProjectSight.
  
• Experience in construction operations, project management, project controls, or construction technology.
  
• Experience training administrators and end users on construction software.
  
• Project management experience or certification is a plus.
  

Compensation & Contract Terms

Anticipated consulting rate: $147 - $171.50per hour, depending on experience, ProjectSight expertise, project requirements, and scope of work.

Actual hours and duration will vary based on client demand and assigned engagements. Specific project scope, scheduling expectations, travel requirements, and other engagement terms will be established as part of the applicable consulting agreement.

Independent contractors are responsible for their own taxes, insurance, benefits, and other obligations associated with their independent business or contracting arrangement.
