Job summary

Serco is seeking a Senior Information Management / Knowledge Management Specialist to lead enterprise IM/KM initiatives for the Joint Staff J-7 DDJTE in Suffolk, VA. You will drive knowledge sharing, BI, and digital collaboration using Microsoft 365 tools, ensuring DoD compliance and security governance.

The role requires 2+ years in MS 365/BI solutions, DoD eligibility, and the ability to travel up to 10%.

Qualifications

Active DoD security clearance or ability to obtain Top Secret/SCI clearance
U.S. Citizenship required
Bachelor’s degree or higher in IT/CS/Data Analytics or related field
2+ years designing, developing, and administering Microsoft 365 collaboration and BI solutions (SharePoint Online, Teams, Power BI, Excel, Power Apps, Power Automate)
Experience implementing IM/KM strategies, data integration from multiple government/enterprise systems, and information governance
Experience administering SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 collaboration environments
Experience designing executive dashboards, KPI dashboards, COPs, and BI visualizations with Power BI and 365 technologies
Experience training users on Microsoft 365 collaboration, BI, and KM tools
Willingness to travel up to 10% and ability to work on-site in Suffolk, VA
Strong analytical, presentation, and communication skills
Knowledge of DoD cybersecurity, SRG, STIGs, and DoD data governance policies

Responsibilities

Lead development and implementation of enterprise IM and KM strategies, governance, records management, metadata, and collaboration using Microsoft 365
Design, develop, and administer SharePoint Online, Teams, Lists, and other 365 environments with DoD compliance
Develop and maintain executive dashboards, COPs, KPI scorecards, workforce analytics, and data visualizations using Power BI and Excel
Integrate and analyze data from multiple government information systems to deliver enterprise reporting and decision-support
Design and implement Power Apps and Power Automate solutions to automate workflows and improve collaboration
Leverage AI/machine learning capabilities (where authorized) for knowledge discovery and workflow automation while maintaining governance
Capture and disseminate organizational knowledge, lessons learned, and best practices
Develop and deliver executive briefings and training on 365, SharePoint, Power Platform, BI, and KM best practices
Collaborate with government stakeholders to advance digital modernization and ensure compliance
