Job summary

SailPoint is seeking a Senior Solution Consultant (pre-sales Solution Engineer) to support the US sales regions for Commercial accounts. You will partner with our sales teams by applying your technical abilities and business acumen in support of SailPoint’s growth objectives.

Location: US (residence preferred in Chicago, MST, or PST) with up to 25% travel. The role requires 5+ years in enterprise software pre-sales, strong communication, and knowledge of Identity, Governance and Access

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a pre-sales technical resource in an enterprise software company (B2B).
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
• Working knowledge of web services, application servers, databases, virtualization, and directories.
• Conversant in modern SaaS architecture.
• Familiarity with Java, XML, LDAP, SQL, JSON, Azure/AWS/GCP.
• 3+ years working with Identity, Governance and Access Management solutions.

Responsibilities

• Actively participate in the sales process with direct and channel sales teams.
• Discover and understand customer requirements and align SailPoint solutions.
• Present SailPoint business functions, value, and differences.
• Provide product demonstrations to prospective customers.
• Assist in developing RFP responses with the RFP team.
• Participate in onsite and remote POV evaluations.
• Provide feedback to Product Management on product enhancements.
