Job summary

SailPoint seeks an Advisory Solution Consultant (pre-sales Solution Engineer) to support US West sales for Enterprise accounts. You will partner with sales teams, applying technical acumen and business insight to SailPoint’s growth objectives. Must be located in Chicago, IL.

You will lead demos, understand customer requirements, and articulate SailPoint’s value and differentiators, while collaborating with sales, product, and services teams.

Qualifications

• Five plus years of professional experience as a pre-sales technical resource in an enterprise software company (B2B).
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
• Working knowledge of technical infrastructure including web services, application servers, databases, virtualization, and directories.
• Conversant in modern SaaS architecture.
• Familiarity with Java, XML, LDAP, SQL, JSON; Azure/AWS/GCP desirable.
• Three plus years working with Identity, Governance and Access Management (IGA) solutions is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Actively participate in the sales process and work with direct and channel sales teams.
• Discover and understand customer requirements and align SailPoint solutions.
• Present SailPoint business functions, value, and competitive differences.
• Provide product demonstrations to prospective customers.
• Assist in developing RFP responses with the RFP team.
• Participate in onsite and remote POV evaluations.
• Provide feedback to Product Management on enhancements.
